Recently Supermodels Secrets was selected as one
of the top 20 finalists at Alliance BizSmart challenge 2016 program and we were
invited for a short interview session with BFM Malaysia - The business radio
station.
Our founder, Michelle Chuah, was interviewed alongside with Amy Zheng, co-founder of Amazin' graze, a healthy snack company. We recently in early 2015 closed our Supermodels
Secrets Enterprise of 4 years and started a new company Supermodels Secrets Sdn
Bhd (now 2 years old) as we are still a home business and as things progressed
we decided to take on this new gearing for further growth. Our enterprise was
started when the business was path.
A little background of
Supermodels Secrets of how we started by our founder by accident - stemmed from
her right eye blindness which got her to quite her corporate job and later
tried on freelance modelling to make ends meet, in modelling she used inspiration
to start the company with initial capital of RM 1,000 that rolled products to
help her look good for her shoots. from there she got the back until today, in
2015 we recorded RM 1.4mil in revenue. It was slow and steady growth from our
work over the years with all our valued any sort of funding, loans, shareholder's
money, or any sort of external fund. It was slow and steady growth from our

We faced a lot of challenges recently from losing
our entire Facebook fan page by a competitor hack, losing our entire website,
getting robbed and many more stronger than before. Passion and perseverance is
very important as we have learnt challenges which took a beating on our
business. However we will persevere which helped us apply the in our business
to improve our company culture going a lot from the Alliance BizSmart challenge
training sessions and CEO Chatrooms forward.
